I dealt with Karl on a complicated case we had with a major franchise workshop, The workshop had replaced a turbo on a Toyota Land Cruiser, The engine failed not long after the repair. It was found that a bolt had been left in the intake system when the repair was done and subsequently went through the new turbo and destroyed the engine. We battled for 11 months trying to get the franchise to take responsibility to replace the engine due to their gross negligence carrying out the turbo replacement incorrectly. Karl assisted us to put a strong case together, with his vast mechanical knowledge which we presented to the disputes tribunal our claim was successful resulting in the workshop having to repair the vehicle at their expense.
