Karl, I would just like to thank you very much for your help with my Ford Ranger Raptor.
My Truck had developed a knocking noise somewhere in the engine. I took it to the Ford dealership for them to assess and advise, they looked at my truck and said that there was nothing wrong with that keep driving. One week the wet belt stripped 15 teeth off it and caused the vehicle to stop. The Ford dealership told me they assessed the engine and the engine was a right off. They told me they had compression tested the engine and there was no compression of number three cylinder. I took the truck home and decided to look around for a second-hand engine over the next few weeks some friends of mine removed the engine and the head and said there was nothing wrong with the Engine. I went back to the Ford dealership who basically bullied me and threatened legal action if I didn’t pay the $3000 that I’ve spent on the Engine already, they denied that the Engine compression on number three cylinder was operating correctly. During the extremely stressful period of trying to deal with the Ford dealership and the fact that I had no vehicle I was advised by MTA to contact Karl at auto Assess, Karl is very methodical with collecting information and extremely experienced with technical aspects of engines in vehicles. It is a long story but at the end of it Karl had a meeting with the Ford dealership and the mechanic who worked on the Engine, and they admitted they had only done a compression test by sticking his finger down the hole and winding it over with a spanner. They admitted full liability and paid me close to $9000. Without Karl’s help and expertise, I would not only have my vehicle off the road. I would also have a $3000 incorrect bill. I would’ve had to pay at the dealership. Karl obtained the relevant information and was able to advise me on a way to move forward. I just can’t express enough thanks for not only the mental support that’s needed with these sorts of issues but also his technical knowledge to ultimately have a good outcome for me. I am also very thankful to MTA for recommending Karl as there is a limit to what MTA can do for you as the customer they can try to help but ultimately can’t make the dealer do something if they refuse. I am very thankful to Karl from Auto Assess all the best for the future.
